-Developing reports necessary for analytical review and to expedite month-end close process
-Preparation and analysis of financial statements and the G/L, financial reporting, budget analysis, reconciliations and all other general accounting activities
-Application of accounting policies (i.e. GAAP)
-Participate in the month-end close process
-Develop, coordinate and evaluate accruals and allocations
-Track and report on status of fixed assets and capital projects
-Review bank accounts and balances. Resolve issues associated with balances
-Coordinate processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable

-Qualifications 4+ years relevant accounting experience, preferably with a large, public corporation
-Advanced skills in MS Excel including macros, pivot tables and look ups.
Bachelors degree in Accounting
-Working knowledge of GAAP and other local, state, federal accounting rules, policies and requirements
-Confidence, strong communication skills, ability to work well with people of varying abilities and backgrounds
