One of Long Island?s largest, most reputable companies is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. Join a group that believes in team work and offers an excellent work environment and compensation/benefits package. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Review corporate tax returns for completeness and accuracy
-Assist with research and planning according to current tax laws and evaluate the tax impact of current and proposed company activities and transactions
-Prepare FAS 109 provision calculation
-Prepare and maintain Transfer Pricing Documentation
-Knowledge of FIN48
-Implement strategies to minimize corporate tax liability in accordance with current laws
-Support tax director on tax audits by outside regulatory agencies
-Review all annual reports for the US entities
-Review all estimated tax payments Review account reconciliation of federal and state income tax accrual accounts
-Work with the controller on asset depreciation schedules and policies as well as liaise with outside tax preparers, other departments and subsidiaries as required

Must have multi-state experience, sales and use, strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple demands. CPA and public accounting background strongly preferred.
