Summary:
Perform management duties that include: supervise a staff of professionals who serve and develop Trust and Investment relationships, supervise satellite trust markets offices led by Trust and Investments Market Supervisors and to serve as a relationship manager of Trust clients.Primary activities include providing leadership and mentoring to account managers and other team members, participating in strategic plan development, acting as a relationship management, adhering to investment and trust administration responsibilities, serving on New Business Acceptance and Product Committees and supporting business development.

Responsibilities:
Serve as Relationship Manager for the markets largest or most influential Trust and Investment Services relationships as primary contact and handle the day-to-day duties.Conduct periodic relationship meetings, annual relationship reviews and client profiling to ensure that strategies are consistent with client's goals and needs.
Supervise designated team members and Satellite Markets assuring the activities and responsibilities of the position are met, provide an evaluation of the team member’s responsibilities in an annual performance review. Recommends promotions, terminations and salary adjustments.Interviews job applicants for all section level positions and recommends for hire.
Assist in strategic plan development, participate in annual budgets and determine staff account assignments.
Ensure client relationship management to achieve a high degree of client satisfaction, legal compliance, and profitability; ensure periodic client relationship reviews are conducted, ensure strategies are consistent with client’s goals and needs.
Recommend additions and/or changes topolicies and procedures affecting Trust and Investment Services; review, approve and direct required daily administrative functions in accordance with the governing document or client written requests or instructions; ensure the investment portfolios are in compliance with our clients' investment policy, laws, policies, procedures, regulations and rulings governing trust services; ensure that all accounts are billed in accordance with established fee schedule and collected
Develop/maintain visibility in the Trust Services Community; Participate in activities that promote the Bank as an active supporter of community goals and interests and provide long-term business opportunities.
Ensure adherence to all regulations and to all internal policies and procedures.Chair Market Trust Administrative Committees and report to the Regional Trust Administrative Committee
Keep informed of legislation and regulatory rulings/changes and assess their impact on clients and others; communicate changes in law and regulation to appropriate parties.
Exhibit a thorough understanding of investment concepts and articulate a clear understanding of Capital One Asset Management's investment process, products and services
Recommends promotions, terminations and salary adjustments for subordinates to the Regional or Market Manager.Interviews job applicants for all section level positions and recommends for hire.
